AlloComp AI Day Brings Ireland’s AI Community Together at University of Limerick
AlloComp AI Day, supported by NVIDIA, brought developers, researchers, students, start-ups and industry leaders together at the University of Limerick for a practical exploration of AI technologies, infrastructure and real-world applications.
The event was created to help connect AI research with industry, share practical knowledge and make the technologies behind AI more accessible to organisations at every stage of adoption.
A key objective of the day was to explore what it takes to move AI from experimentation into real-world deployment. Expert talks, demonstrations and technical sessions covered the wider AI ecosystem, from development platforms and applications to the compute, storage and infrastructure required to support them.
The programme also highlighted the range of infrastructure options now available, including personal AI systems, on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms and larger-scale AI environments. This reflected one of the central questions guiding AlloComp’s work: Where should your AI live?
By bringing technology providers, researchers, developers and organisations together, AlloComp AI Day created opportunities to exchange ideas, build new connections and support the continued development of Ireland’s AI ecosystem.
Thank you to NVIDIA, PNY, the University of Limerick, our speakers, exhibitors and everyone who contributed to the day.
